A

Causes: hypersensitivity reactions to:
 Antiepileptic: epanuten, tegretol.
 ARV(Anti Retro Viral)
 Antibiotics: quinolone, B. lactam.
 Capoten.

Treatment

A
  1. Immediate withdrawal of offending drug
  2. Systemic corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone 1 mg/kg/day) in moderate to severe cases
  3. Supportive care: fluids, antipyretics, monitoring organ function
  4. Slow taper of steroids to prevent relapse
