Companies equipped with entrance door combination lock and units relocating into quarters having such locks are to be guided by the following procedures.

A. Relocating Units:

l. The combination will be printed with the response message.
2. If a unit does not receive a teleprinter response message (e.g. company on the air at the time of response), the lock combination can be obtained through the dispatcher. The methods of obtaining the combination are listed in order of preference.

b. Outside public telephone.

3. REPORTING ILLEGAL ENTRY OF QUARTERS

3.1 Officer on duty at the time illegal entry of quarters is discovered, shall immediately notify:

3.1.1 Administrative Battalion and Division.

3.1.2 Police Precinct.

3.1.3 Office of the Inspector General (only if there is a theft in which a Department employee is a suspect).

3.1.4 Bureau of Fire Investigation (only if incident involves a false alarm response).

3.2 Officer on duty shall prepare and forward form BP-153 in triplicate.
