Thursday is pronounced pémti.
About the verb ‘to arrive’:
Remember that it has two, alternative, spellings:
φτάνω and φθάνω - the second spelling is shown in the conjugation table for ‘to arrive’, attached to this flashcard. Alternative spellings are common in Greek - get used to it!

Why don’t we go to a concert tonight?
Γιατί δεν πάμε σε μια συναυλία απόψε;
I don’t know. Tonight I prefer we go to the movies.
Δεν ξέρω. Απόψε προτιμώ να πάμε σινεμά.
We went to the cinema on Tuesday.
Πήγαμε σινεμά την Τρίτη.
I like going to the movies.
Μου αρέσει να πηγαίνω σινεμά.
After the film we can go for a coffee.
Μετά την ταινία* μπορούμε να πάμε για έναν καφέ.
*not until lesson 14 did I find out the spelling that Pimsleur Greek uses for ‘film’. The word is ‘έργο’. I found the word in the macOS dictionary!
We saw a good film: Είδαμε ένα καλό έργο.
έργο:

(μουσ. αριθμημένη σύνθεση) opus
Bard, Google’s Ai, says:
* Use “ταινία” for most everyday conversation and for referring to films in general.
* Use “έργο” in formal contexts, for discussions about filmmaking as an art form, or for specific types of films like art films and classics.
Tonight it starts at half past seven.

We can eat something after the film.

Just as in English , you can use the present tense rather than the future for an action starting soon.
