Q

Indicates the respective FUEL and HYDRAULIC firewall valves are fully closed. Valves can be re-opened by pressing the ENGINE FIRE switch a second time.
CHECKLIST (F3)
CONSIDERATIONS: GEN field relay will also be open in this situation (unless manually reset by pilot).

19
Q
Indicates the respective POWER RELAY* is OPEN.
*FIELD RELAY will cause the POWER RELAY to open.
CHECKLIST (P1/P2)
CONSIDERATIONS:
- If FIELD RELAY opened GEN voltage will be near 0 (zero).

20
Q

Indicates hydraulic flow rate is below normal (.35 to .55 gpm) so pump is INOP.
CHECKLIST (H3)
CONSIDERATIONS: If both illuminate you probably have a hydraulic leak. Can also be a result of cavitation.

21
Q

Indicates the LOADING VALVE is energized closed and “open center” system is pressurized.
CHECKLIST (I1)
CONSIDERATIONS: If the system remains illuminated AFTER a cycle, ACTION MUST BE TAKEN to prevent damage. If this results in a loss of SB, descent to, or below, FL410.

22
Q
Indicates both SBs are fully extended.
CHECKLIST (J2)
CONSIDERATIONS:
Speedbrakes can be retracted by:
> Switch
> Throttle above approx. 85% N2
> Flaps retracted out of GRN (55 degrees)
A

SPD BRK EXTEND

23
Q

On ground:
- NORMAL
In flight:
- Engines may spool down to ground idle speed if throttles are reduced to IDLE.
CHECKLIST (D3)
CONSIDERATIONS: Engine acceleration time has increased for a GO-AROUND.

24
Indicates that the PITOT HEAT switch is OFF or, power has been lost to the respective p/s heater w/switch ON. CHECKLIST (X2)
.
25
Switch - HI or LOW: - Bleed air temperature exceeds 149C (300F) Switch - OFF: - Shutoff valve has failed OPEN or is leaking bleed air, allowing line pressure to exceed 5 PSI CHECKLIST (W3) CONSIDERATIONS: Monitor w/s for heat damage.
W/S AIR O'HEAT
26
Indicates P/S switch is OFF or AOA vane not receiving heat. CHECKLIST (X1) CONSIDERATIONS: Do not reduce airspeed below Vref. Stick shaker may fail to function properly.
AOA HTR FAIL
27
Indicates respective leading edge has detected a temperature above 160F. CHECKLIST (X3) CONSIDERATIONS: Wing anti-ice will automatically cycle OFF, then ON once the over-temp has cleared. Condition should only occur on the ground w/high thrust settings.
.
28
Illuminates to indicate the rudder bias control valve is in the bypass position. CHECKLIST (U4) CONSIDERATIONS: - Valve is energized open (fails to bypass). - Pulling the CB is to prevent inadvertent activation.
.
29
Indicates the brake pressure is low (below approx. 900 PSI). ANTISKI INOP will also illuminate. CHECKLIST (I3) CONSIDERATIONS: - System is NOT powered with LDG GEAR handle in the UP position.
PWR BRK LOW PRESS
30
``` Advises that the ANTISKID system is: - INOP - Test mode - Switch is in OFF position CHECKLIST (J1) CONSIDERATIONS: Excessive brake pressure may cause brakes to lock. ```
ANTISKID INOP
31
Illuminates as fuel pressure drops below 4.4 PSI. Extinguishes as pressure rises through 6.4 PSI CHECKLIST (E1) CONSIDERATIONS: Pressure switch is just prior to engine driven fuel pump.
