When conducting your daily checks of the fuel supply, engine and Onan oil, and coolant, what are you checking for?
Capacity of fluid are maintained

Visual inspection of tires and wheels for damage

Inspect ALL lights for proper operation

What should your weekly check of the engine be?
Run for 10 mins @ high idle with AC at maximum cool with all electrical accessories activated
Deactivate load manager
What should your weekly check of the parking brakes be?
Put transmission in drive with parking brake set
Remove foot from brake pedal and observe if apparatus moves
What should your weekly check of the front aux wheel lock be?
Engine off and chock wheels
Set rear and front brakes
Assistant observe front axle push rods have actuated
Listen for leaks
What should your weekly checks of the brakes be?
Check for the thickness of pad 1/4” or less call in and schedule brakes
Inspect rotors for any cracks extending to edge of rotor
Look for excess oil or grease on brake or rotor
What are your weekly checks of the water filter?
Inspect for proper fluid color, level or leaks
What is the weekly check of the EPU?
Run EPU, circulate fluid, check operation and check for leaks
What is the weekly check of the swing drive?
Remove pipe plug placated near top, oil should be above top face of gear but not higher than bottom of plug opening, refill as needed
What is your weekly check of the aerial ladder?
Inspect drive pinion bearing gear teeth for wear, alignment and lubrication
Inspect control console and comm system
Inspect collector rings under turntable, brushes for wear and hydraulic lines
What are your weekly checks of the batteries?
Observer battery self check eye for green color
If not green note and report
What are you weekly checks of the air tanks?
Drain each and every air tank of water and oil
What is your weekly check of the water pump?
Check for evidence of leakage
Look at condition of coolant hose and connections
What is your weekly check of the transmission fluid?
Perform manual cold check of transmission fluid
What is your weekly check of the hydraulic reservoir fluid?
Check fluid level
What is your weekly check of the tiller cab?
Inspect door hinges and latches
