Story 1 : من كنعان الى مصر

Question 1

انتقل يعقوب عليه السلام الى مصر و انتقل معه اولاده

Answer 1

Yaqoob (a.s) migrated to Egypt and his sons migrated with him.

Question 2

انتقلوا الى مصر لأن يوسف بن يعقوب عليه السلام هوسيد مصر يأمر و ينهى فيها

Answer 2

They all migrated to Egypt because Yusuf (a.s), son of Ya’qoob (a.s), he is the leader of Egypt. He commands and prohibits in within it.

Question 3

و كانوا في كنعان يرعون الغنم و يحلبون الشاة و يبيعون الصوف

Answer 3

And they were in Kinaan, grazing sheep and milking sheep and selling the wool.

Question 4

و عبيد يوسف و خدمه يأكلون و ينعمون في مصر

Answer 4

In the state that the servants of Yusuf (a.s) and his workers used to eat and would like in luxury in within Egypt.

Question 5

فما يصنعون في كنعان؟ و لماذا لايذهبون الى مصر؟

Answer 5

So what will they do in within Kinaan? And for what reason would they not go to Egypt?

Question 6

ارسل يوسف الى يعقوب و اهله و طلبهم من كنعان

Answer 6

Yusuf (a.s) sent for Yaqoob (a.s) and his family and sought them from Kinaan.

Question 7

و كان يوسف لا يطيب له طعام و لا شراب حتى يرى اباه و اخوته

Answer 7

And no type of food or drink would be pleasurable for Yusuf (a.s) until he would see his father and brothers.

Question 8

و كيف يطيب له طعام و شراب و كيف يطيب له عيش و هو وحيد في مصر

Answer 8

So how would any type of food or drink be pleasurable for him? And how would any way of life be pleasant for him whilst he is alone in Egypt?

Question 9

و ماذا يصنع بالقصور و ابوه و اخوته في بيت صغير في كنعان

Answer 9

And what will he do with palaces whilst his father and his brothers are in a small house in Kinaan.

Question 10

و جاء يعقوب و اولاده الى مصر فاستقبلهم يوسف و فرح بهم فرحا عظيما

Answer 10

And Yaqoob (a.s) and his children came to Egypt, so Yusuf (a.s) welcomed them and became happy due to their coming.

Question 11

و احب اهل مصر هذا البيت الكريم لأنهم يحبون يوسف لكرمه و احسانه الى الناس

Answer 11

Egypt welcomed the family of its master and the family of its noble king and it became very happy due to its (family) coming. And the people of Egypt loved Yusuf (a.s) due to his generosity and compassion towards people.

Question 12

و لأنهم راوا في يوسف اخا ناصحا شفيقا فراوا في يعقوب والدا ماجدا كريما

Answer 12

And because they saw Yusuf (a.s) to be a sincere, compassionate brother, therefore they say Yaqoob (a.s) to be a noble, kind father.

Question 13

و كان يعقوب كبير البلاد و شيخ مصر و كان اهل مصر له كالأبناء

Answer 13

And Yaqoob (a.s) was the oldest of the city and the elder of Eqypt. And the people of Egypt were like sons to him.

Question 14

و طابت ليعقوب و ابانئه الإقامة في مصر و صارت لهم وطنا

Answer 14

The place of stay became good for Yaqoob (a.s) and his children in Egypt and it became a homeland for them.
