و لما اتمّت ام موسى رضاعته ردّتْه الى القصر
When the mother of Musa (a.s.) completed the period of breastfeeding, she returned him to the palace.
و نشأ موسى في قصر الملك كما ينشأ ابناء الملوك
Musa (a.s.) grew up in the palace of the king like the way sons of kings grow up.
وهكذا زالتْ من قلب موسى مهابة الملوك و الأغنياء
In this manner, fear of the kings and the rich vanished from the heart of Musa (a.s.)
و راى موسى بعينيه كيف ينعم فرعون و اهله
Musa (a.s) saw with his own two eyes how pharoah and his people were living in luxury.
و كيف يشقى بنو اسرائيل لينعم فرعون و اهله
And Bani Israel would struggle so that pharoah and his people could live in luxury.
و كيف يجوع بنو اسرائيل لتشبع دواب فرعون
And how Bani Israel starved so that the animals of pharoah may be satisfied.
و كيف يعاملون بني اسرائيل معاملة الحمير و الدواب
And how they used to treat the Bani Israel, treatment of donkeys and animals.
و كيف يستخدمونهم و يسومونهم سوء العذاب
And how they would enslave and punish them, evil punishment.
و كان موسى يرى ذلك صباح مساء و يسكت
And Musa (a.s.) would see that morning and evening and he would remain quiet.
و لكن كان موسى يغيظه ذلك
However, in the matter of Musa (a.s) that would enrage him.
و كيف لا يغيظه اهاتة قومه و اسرته
And how could the disgrace of his people and his family not enrage him?
و هم ابناء الأنبياء و هم ابناء الكرام
Yet they were the children of messengers. Yet they were the children of noble people.
و ما ذنب بني اسرائيل ا لأنهم ليسوا اقباطا؟
And what was the sin of Bani Israel? Is it for the reason that they were not egyptians?
أ لأنهم من كنعان؟
Is it for the reason that they were from Kinaan?
هذا ليس بذنب! هذا ليس بذنب!
This is not a sin! This is not a sin!
