Proper Noun
A proper noun is unique person, place, thing, or idea.

A word that replaces a noun. Ex. Instead of saying photosynthesis, I can say it.
Adjective
A word that describes a noun.
Verb
An action word.

A adverb describes a verb.
Conjunction
Connects words, phrases, and sentences.
Coordinating conjunction
And, so, but, yet, so, nor, for.
Subordinating conjunction
Because, although, while, since, unless, before, after.
Correlative conjunction
Either or, neither nor, not only, but also.
Preposition
Describes one’s object’s position in relationship to another object. Ex. Over, under, around, across, next to, in, at,
Interjection
Interjections are usually followed by an exclamation point or a comma, depending on the level of emotion. Ex. No! Wow! Oh, Okay.
