100 to 120 per minute

Look for full chest recoil

Determine if victim is breathing or has a pulse

No more than 10 seconds
Check the carotid or brachial
Children pulse under 60 - no pulse

Rescue Breath
A
Infants/Child - 1 breath every 3 to 5 seconds
Check every 2 minutes
Adult - 1 breath every 5 to 6 seconds
Check every 2 minutes

A
Infant/child - 1/3 depth of chest about 1.5 inches
Adults - 2 - 2.4 inches
