1. The entire watch will be called to order with the command “Fall In, Attention for Inspection”

3. Sergeants/Supervisors will visually inspect each officer under their supervision. They will check:

a. Personal appearance; and
b. Proper uniform and equipment.

4. The command “At Ease” will be given;

5. Staff Officers desiring to address the formation will be introduced;

6. Officers from other Divisions/Units authorized by the Watch Commander in charge of roll call or higher authority to address the formation will be introduced;

7. Information/announcements on the reading file will be read and roll call training will be conducted;

8. Other Watch Commanders as well as Sergeants and officers will be asked if they have anything to announce;

9. Guests that are authorized by a Chief of Patrol or higher authority to address the formation will be introduced; and

10. The command “Fall Out” will be given.

Officers on watches that begin between 1300 and 1700, who need to file cases with the State Attorney’s Office (SAO) shall:

1. Prior to their roll call, contact their Watch Commander by phone, obtain permission to report directly to the SAO, and receive their area assignment and

2. Once permission is obtained and assignment received, report as directed and advise the Zone Dispatcher of their status.

Officers arriving late and without approval after the command to “fall in” has been given will:

1. Not interrupt the formation;

2. Enter the drill hall or place of formation and remain out of formation until acknowledged by their supervisor;

3. Report to their Watch Commander after the roll call formation has been dismissed;

4. Be considered late; and

5. Be subject to counseling or disciplinary action.

Any supervisor from any section who sees a need for informational/policy review training at a roll call formation will seek permission from their respective _________ and coordinate the training with the Commanding Officer of the specific Watch/Unit needing the training.
