Incisional biopsy best (AVOID GOING THROUGH LIP OR CHEEK and record exactly where the lesion is)
FNA difficult
Thoracic rads, FNA LN if enlarged, abdominal US
CT indirect lymphography to identify at-risk lymph nodes

A

Previously dx as fibroma, fibrous tissue, scar tissue, inflammation on histology
Very benign on histology
Very invasive!! (requires larger surgical margins)
Low metastatic rate, high local recurrence!
