Adverse effects

A

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal cramping, dry skin, or burning.

Contraindications

A

Hypersensitivity, be careful with patients that have impaired biliary or hepatic function because of the possibility of cholestatic hepatitis ( blocking in the bile ducts of the liver that causes inflammation)

A

Digoxin and warfarin can cause abnormal bleeding, don’t take with clindamycin, or chloramphenicol.
