Describe the geographical area served by the Dispatch Center?

A
  • Dispatch receives calls for all of Yakima County.
  • Calls in the lower valley are transferred to the responding agency via a direct line so they can receiver, handle and dispatch their own calls.
  • Fire dispatch covers a 561 square mile area that includes 10 Fire Districts, and 2 Cities, all of the Upper Valley Agencies.
  • Police Dispatch cover the Cities of Yakima and Union Gap.

-Annie Alley and Cross Directory
