Fill Up Cascade with Mako (Make Air)
Purpose is to purify and dry out air.
- Visual Inspection
- Open drain valve
- Check sight glass (should be like the equator), if needed add Mako Oil
- Pull Out Stop Button
- Start Button on Interface
- Menu, Arrow, Status
- Crack Fill Valve, Keep Banks Closed
- Warm up and Purge Negative Contents (Run 15 Minutes)
- Shut down fill valve, push stop button (Big Red Button)
- Open the Banks you want to fill.
Steps for using the Mako System on the Air Unit
- Bank 1 through 5
- Open Fill Valve
- Fill four (4) (Green Bank),
- Hot Fill, 10% 4,950PSI
- Yellow is the low pressure
- Non Combat Reserves fill bottles
Fill Mobile Air Unit
- Cycle Bauer
- Connect Whip
- Equalize banks on Air Unit
- Connect Long Black Cord
- Open Fill Valve on both the air truck and the Mako
- Open Fill Valves on Both the Mako and the Air Unit
Fill Oxygen Bottles (Green Bottles)
-Connect
-Open Valve
-Close
-Bleed

7500 PSI
What are the steps if a bottle is out of service and needs to be sent to 93?
- Drain Bottle
- Tag Bottle with ERS Report
- Send to Station 93

What is the PSI per minute for a slow fill?
Under 435 PSI per minute is considered a slow fill.
