Tips for Driving the Engine

  • Know Routes, (Fewest Corners and Schools plus the Most Lanes)
  • Drive engine like you drive your car (5 over)
  • Try to stay on arterials as long as possible
  • Respect the intersections (Avoid congestion)
  • Respect Corners
  • Commands for intersections (Clear, Stop)
  • Situational Awareness: Say exactly what is happening with all drivers.
  • Wheel across the lane.
  • Always use lights but don’t have to use sirens.
