what are miscellaneous bacteria?
bacteria that can't be stained with Gram's method or can't be cultured by standard methods.
examples of miscellaneous bacteria
acid and alcohol fast bacilli
bacteria resistant to decolourisation by acid or alcohol after staining with a specific stain
bacterium that causes tuberculosis
non-tuberculosi mycobacterium examples
cause syphilis, Lyme disease, leptospirosis
caused by the bacteria chlamydia trachomatis
