What are common symptoms of Ewing sarcoma?
bone tumor in a child that presents similarly to
osteomyelitis (i.e., fever and bone pain in a kid).
In a bone scan, where does Ewing sarcoma typically show uptake?
Diaphysis
In contrast to Ewing sarcoma, where does osteomyelitis typically show uptake in a bone scan?
Metaphysis
If bone scan is performed in Ewing sarcoma, it is most likely to show uptake in the diaphysis; in contrast, osteomyelitis will show uptake in the metaphysis

Small blue cells of neuroendocrine origin and/or onion-skinning
