दोषेण

A

दोषेण = ‘by bad luck’ (B&K)
BUT ACTUALLY THE FULL PHRASE IS अनेन … दोषेण AND IT REFERS BACK TO THE JACKAL’S LAST STATEMENT TO THE EFFECT THAT HE HIMSELF IS THE RULER OF THE PATCH OF FOREST HE IS TALKING ABOUT AND THAT THEREFORE “NO ONE ELSE IS AROUND” … AND “BY VIRTUE OF THAT FAULT/FLAW” THE FEMALE DONKEYS HE HAS UNDER HIS PROTECTION HAVE NO MATE. THAT IS WHAT THIS IS REALLY SAYING.
