قِسِّيسَين
Meaning: Priests, religious scholars, Christian clergy.

(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:82)
تَفِيض
Meaning: It overflows, it gushes, it pours forth.

(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:95)
وَبَاَلَ
Meaning: Consequence, burden, penalty, impact.

(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:95)
تُبْدُ
Meaning: You reveal, you disclose, you make known.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ شَهَٰدَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ حِينَ ٱلْوَصِيَّةِ ٱثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍۢ مِّنكُمْ أَوْ ءَاخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَصَٰبَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۚ تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِٱللَّهِ إِنِ ٱرْتَبْتُمْ لَا نَشْتَرِى بِهِۦ ثَمَنًۭا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ ۙ وَلَا نَكْتُمُ شَهَٰدَةَ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّآ إِذًۭا لَّمِنَ ٱلْءَاثِمِينَ
(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:106)
فَيُقْسِمَان
Meaning: So they both swear an oath, so they take an oath.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ شَهَٰدَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ حِينَ ٱلْوَصِيَّةِ ٱثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍۢ مِّنكُمْ أَوْ ءَاخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَأَصَٰبَتْكُم مُّصِيبَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ۚ تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِٱللَّهِ إِنِ ٱرْتَبْتُمْ لَا نَشْتَرِى بِهِۦ ثَمَنًۭا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَىٰ ۙ وَلَا نَكْتُمُ شَهَٰدَةَ ٱللَّهِ إِنَّآ إِذًۭا لَّمِنَ ٱلْءَاثِمِينَ
(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:106)
عُثِرَ
Meaning: It was discovered, it was found out, it was exposed.
Word Type: Verb (Past tense, third-person masculine singular).
Context: This word appears in Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:107), where Allah describes the situation when a false testimony is عُثِرَ (discovered or exposed). If it is found that witnesses have given false statements, two other individuals should replace them and swear an oath to ensure justice. Verse:
فَإِنْ عُثِرَ عَلَىٰٓ أَنَّهُمَا ٱسْتَحَقَّآ إِثْمًۭا فَـَٔاخَرَانِ يَقُومَانِ مَقَامَهُمَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِم ٱلْأَوْلَيَٰنِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِٱللَّهِ لَشَهَٰدَتُنَآ أَحَقُّ مِن شَهَٰدَتِهِمَا وَمَا ٱعْتَدَيْنَآ إِنَّآ إِذًۭا لَّمِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:107)
كَفَفْتُ
Meaning: I restrained, I held back, I withheld.
Word Type: Verb (Past tense, first-person singular).
Context: This word appears in Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:110), where Allah reminds Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him) of His blessings, including how He كَفَفْتُ (restrained or held back) the Children of Israel from harming him. إِذْ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ يَٰعِيسَى ٱبْنَ مَرْيَمَ ٱذْكُرْ نِعْمَتِى عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَتِكَ إِذْ أَيَّدتُّكَ بِرُوحِ ٱلْقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ ٱلنَّاسَ فِى ٱلْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلًۭا ۖ وَإِذْ عَلَّمْتُكَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ ۖ وَإِذْ تَخْلُقُ مِنَ ٱلطِّينِ كَهَيْـَٔةِ ٱلطَّيْرِ بِإِذْنِى فَتَنفُخُ فِيهَا فَتَكُونُ طَيْرًۭا بِإِذْنِى وَتُبْرِئُ ٱلْأَكْمَهَ وَٱلْأَبْرَصَ بِإِذْنِى ۖ وَإِذْ تُخْرِجُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ بِإِذْنِى ۖ وَإِذْ كَفَفْتُ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ عَنكَ إِذْ جِئْتَهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ
(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:110)
مِدْرَارًا
Meaning: Abundantly, continuously, plentifully.
Word Type: Adjective (Masdar form, used as an intensifier).
Context: This word appears in Surah Al-An’am (6:6), where Allah reminds people of the nations before them who were destroyed despite being given abundant مِّدْرَارًۭا (continuous and plentiful) rain. أَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍۢ مَّكَّنَّٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَا لَمْ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمْ وَأَرْسَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيْهِم مِّدْرَارًۭا وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرَ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَنشَأْنَا مِنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْنًا ءَاخَرِينَ
(Surah Al-An’am 6:6)
أَنْشَأْنَا
Meaning: And We raised, and We produced, and We brought forth.

(Surah Al-An’am 6:6)
قِرْطَاس
Meaning: Parchment, paper, scroll.
Word Type: Noun (Masculine, Singular).
Context: This word appears in Surah Al-An’am (6:7), where Allah describes the disbelief of those who would still reject the truth even if He had sent down a book on قِرْطَاسٍ (parchment or paper) for them to physically touch. Meaning: We would have confused, We would have obscured, We would have made unclear.

(Surah Al-An’am 6:25)
وَقْرًا
Meaning: Deafness, heaviness (in hearing), obstruction (from understanding).

وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَسْتَمِعُ إِلَيْكَ وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًۭا ۚ وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ كُلَّ ءَايَةٍۢ لَّا يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوكَ يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
(Surah Al-An’am 6:25)
يَنْئَوْنَ
Meaning: They distance themselves, they turn away, they withdraw.
