يَغْنَوا
Meaning: They remained, they dwelled, they lived.

جاوَزْنا
Meaning: And We made them pass, and We took them across.

Meaning: Destroyed, ruined, annihilated.

Meaning: It settled, it became stable, it was firmly established.

(Surah Al-A’raf 7:143)
دَكّاً
Meaning: Crushed, leveled, shattered.

صَعِقاً
Meaning: Unconscious, struck down, stunned.

أفَاقَ
Meaning: He regained consciousness, he woke up, he recovered.

سَأُصْرِفُ
Meaning: I will turn away, I will divert, I will prevent.

الغَيّ
Meaning: Deviation, misguidance, corruption.

حُلِيّهم
Meaning: Their ornaments, their jewelry.
