Symptoms: severe pain, nausea, chills, fever
Cause: not enough water intake, gout, IBS

-Too much red meat, alcohol, rich foods
Symptoms: -Sudden attack of severe pain in area, redness, tenderness in joints

Cause: nephritis, injury, heart failure, poisoning

Gradual loss of kidney function
Cause: other diseases that causes gradual kidney damage over months or years
Ex) diabetes, high BP, lupus, recurring kidney infections
