YUDDHA KĀṆḌAM
15.69 Anuṣṭubh (Śloka)
अभिविद्रुत mfn.
== 'deprived of status' (transl.) (?) PROBABLY THE TEXT HERE IS JUST WRONG \ WELL, MAYBE THE IDEA IS THAT THE GANDHARVAS (WHO ARE SPEAKING) WERE 'scattered' AND 'put to flight' BY RAVANA'S INITIAL ATTACK, SO THEY SURRENEDERED - AND THEN HAD TO REMAIN IN HIS SERVICE AS SLAVE-MUSICIANS? \ IT CANNOT MEAN 'made to run away' SINCE IN THE VERY NEXT PADA THEY SAY THEY WERE FORCED TO SING FOR RAVANA'S PLEASURE \\ अभिविद्रुत mfn. (2. dru-), run towards अभिविद्रुत mfn. run away, fled
