A 23-year-old woman comes to the emergency department because of headache, fever, rash, and vomiting for the past 2 days. She also noticed that she has been extremely sensitive to light. The patient states she has never experienced this combination of symptoms before, and has not recently traveled outside of the country or has any recent sick contacts.
