Why is water important

Water is the most abundant compound in living material an account for about two thirds of your body weight. It is a major component of blood and other body fluids. Water is an important solvent because many substances readily dissolve in it. It also carries oxygen, sugars, salts, and vitamins throughout the body. Water can absorb and transport heat.
