Immediate transfer to Reactor River.

CO-V-6 CLOSES, CO-V-7 CLOSES, CO-V-8 OPENS after vacuum is broken.
How long does it take EF-P-2s to reach full flow after actuation?
10 seconds.
What is the function of EF-V-8s?
Min Recirc Valves, blocked OPEN for pump protection, recircs to “B” CST.
What is the total time for EF-P-1 to reach full flow after HSPS and LOOP + ESAS actuation?
40 seconds.
What happens to OTSG level indication at 4# HSPS?
It becomes inaccurate, indicative of LOCA, MSLB, or FWLB inside RB.
How does EFW flow change post-trip on LOOP?
Less EFW is required due to no RCP pump heat.
What must be done if VBA/VBB is lost?
Respective EF-P-2 must be started manually; no EF-V-30 auto control via Foxboro.
What are the signs of EF-P-1 steam binding?
High temps on suction/discharge >200F, discharge pressure < OTSG pressure, pump speed >3500rpm.
Can plant startup continue past 250F if EF-P-1 is declared INOPERABLE?
No, startup cannot continue past 250F.
What action is required if EF-P-2B is OOS and EG-Y-1A is INOPERABLE?
Enter 3.0.1 per T.S. 3.7.2 (Electrical).
How is actual EFW flow to OTSGs normally obtained?
By RSD indicators.
What happens during chest warming with a steam leak in IB on “A” OTSG?
“A” OTSG will have MFW isolation, EFW feeds faulted OTSG (boils dry), “B” OTSG MFW flow falls to 0, EFW maintains @ 25”.
