विद्यया ज्ञानविप्लवे
विद्यया ज्ञानविप्लवे
I DON’T GET THE SYNTAX. LITERALLY THIS SHOULD MEAN ‘in (Rama) the knowledge-shipwreck/confusion with/by means of knowledge’
TRANSL. HAS ‘(the sages), whose ignorance has been dispelled by Vidya’ BUT THIS WON’T WORK. THE CASES ARE WRONG AND THERE IS NO WORD FOR ‘dispelled’ - NOR FOR ‘ignorance’ UNLESS IT BE ज्ञानविप्लवे == RATHER ‘confusion’ BUT IT IS IN THE SAME CASE AS RAMA HERE, SO…
\
AS THE TEXT STANDS, I THINK IT HAS TO MEAN
‘in whom the sages delight, the one who is a shipwreck of knowledge by means of wisdom’ SOMEHOW SUGGESTING RAMA’S TRANSCENDENT KNOWLEDGE (?).
