Who was John the Baptist and what was his purpose prior to Christ being revealed?
Jesus’ cousin who preached about his coming and the need to repent for our sins He was to prepare the way.
What is the nature of humankind and what does this imply regarding the story of Jesus?
Sinful and unable to be holy enough to keep God’s commandments.
We need Jesus to take our place and pay the death penalty we deserve
Understand Jesus’ first miracle and what did his miracles show about himself?
Turning water into wine. Showed his disciples who he was.

Define canonicity
Which books were included in the bible. There is no single canonical bible and many have evolved with overlapping and diverging contents.
One major standard- was it inspired by Holy Spirit
How was the Bible written?
By God’s inspiration

Where did the ideas come from?
Men - prophets, apostles, disciples, kings, believers
All the writing was God inspired
Why is context important?
Taking things out of context can lead to interpretation and beliefs that are not correct.
