Who is Jacob?
Grandson of Abraham. Also called Israel. His 12 sons would found the 12 tribes of Israel.
Who is Abraham?
The patriarch who God made covenants with that he would inherit the land as far as he could see, have descendants as numerous as the stars, and that they would be blessed.
Who is Joseph?
The brother who was sold into slavery by his brothers. Coat of many colors. Egyptian master’s wife lied about him, imprisoned, rose to be Pharoah’s right hand man and saved his family by bringing them to Egypt.
Who is Moses?
Put into water as baby and raised in family of Pharoah.. Burning bush talk with God. Was God’s vessel for plagues. Led Israelites out of Egypt. Wandered in desert 40 yrs. Given 10 commandments.

Hermeneutic- Biblical hermeneutics is the study of the principles of interpretation concerning the books of the Bible.
Exegesis- critical explanation or interpretation of a text or portion of a text, especially of the Bible.
What factors play into Hermeneutics and Exegesis?

What is the determining factor to determine if a book should be included in the Bible or not?
