What are some ops. that are considered to be routine enough that a single unit is capable of handling on they’re own?
outside rubbish fire
brush fires
food on the stove(10-26)
minor emergencies such as: incinerator,oil burner,odor of smoke, steam discharge, water leak. AUC 233 1.2-1.2.5
E- 309 is 10-84 before the chief for a reported brush fire. Who will make the determination if this can be a single unit operation?
When a chief is not 10-84 the OIC, captain or 1st arriving Lt. can implement a single unit operation.

When responding to alarms in or near hospitals, clinics,etc. particular care shall be exercised when rubbish is involved. hospitals are required to have a procedure for disposing waste.Its usually packaged in colored bags. what are the colors and whats in them?
Red= potentially infectious material
White=potentially infectious material which has been cleaned
Black= all other waste
