Why don’t all animals have the same adaptations?
Different animals need different strengths to survive in different environments.

Yes, different animals can have similar adaptations that help them hide, hunt, or adjust to climate. Animals in similar environments usually have similar adaptations.
Could an animal with a lot of blubber live in a hot dessert?
No because blubber helps to keep animals warm.
Would a dessert jackrabbit survive better with large or small ears? why?
The dessert jackrabbit needs big ears because they help them stay cool in hot climates
What does a predator usually do when a skunk gives a warning?
Predators avoid skunks because their spray smells bad and also burns predators eyes
How is mimicry different from camaflauge?
Mimicry is when animals look a lot like other animals. Camouflage is when animals blend in with their environment to hunt or hide.
Could grassland plants survive in a wetland? Why or why not?
No because the grassland plants don’t have adaptations for changing water levels like wetland plants do.
How might the roots of a mangrove tree help it get oxygen?
Mangrove trees have roots that rise out of the water.
